Klondike Derby 2016

Members of the Mystical Gummy Bear Patrol test their tripod structure while competing in a lashing event at this year's Klondike Derby. The competition is an annual opportunity for Scout Troops to test their skills against other area units. This year, Boy Scout Troop 124 sent a total of three teams, each on their own Scout-build sleds while friends from Raymore Crew 124 navigated the obstacles with their own sled.

The greatest moment of the weekend was Sunday morning when the boys confronted the Scoutmaster, having figured out that Klondike is less about competing with other Troops and more about being placed in a difficult situation and allowed the opportunity to work out problems on their own. They learn so fast.
